Hi, I’m Charlotte — the face behind Elevate Your Lane.
With 21 years of experience in the hair industry, my career has evolved from Hairdresser and Barber to Educator, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA). Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience not only behind the chair, but also supporting the operational and educational side of the industry.
For the past 8 years, I’ve worked within education, teaching barbering, managing the running of an academy, delivering theory and practical training, creating session plans, marking assessments, carrying out internal quality assurance, and supporting both students and training providers throughout their learning journey.
Alongside my industry and education experience, I also have a strong background in administration, data entry, customer service, email management, client communication, bookings and general business support. These skills are transferable across a wide range of industries, allowing me to support businesses beyond the Hair, Beauty & Education sectors.
I understand the realities of running a busy business — the constant juggling of clients, customers, admin, bookings, emails, systems and day-to-day tasks. Sometimes, having someone reliable behind the scenes can make all the difference.
